Equalization

An equalization tank helps balance fluctuations in wastewater flow and pollutant concentration before downstream treatment.

pH Adjustment

pH adjustment is commonly used to create suitable conditions for chemical reactions and subsequent treatment processes.

Coagulation and Flocculation

Coagulation and flocculation can help convert fine or dissolved contaminants into larger flocs that can be separated from the water.

Sedimentation

Sedimentation separates the generated sludge from the treated water.

Biological Treatment

Membrane Treatment

Membrane technologies such as ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis can be used when higher-quality treated water or water reuse is required.

Evaporation and Zero Liquid Discharge

For wastewater with high salinity or difficult-to-treat dissolved contaminants, evaporation technologies may be considered.

  • Wastewater source

  • pH

  • COD and BOD

  • TSS

  • TDS

  • Heavy metal concentrations

  • Oil and grease

  • Other relevant pollutants

  • Required discharge limits

  • Water reuse requirements

  • Available installation area
