Cummins launches DEF-resistant exhaust throttle valves

In response to upcoming emission standards (EPA27, CARB27, EU7, NS7), Cummins Components & Software introduced a new generation of exhaust throttle valves.Exhaust Gas Purification. Made from DEF-resistant materials, these valves support dual dosing SCR systems—where diesel exhaust fluid is dosed closer to the turbo—ensuring leak protection and corrosion resistance for natural gas and H₂ ICE applications.

Bosch enhances SCR system with integrated DPF

Bosch recently revamped its diesel exhaust treatment architecture by repositioning the SCR catalyst nearer the engine, integrating it with the diesel particulate filter (DPF), and thermally insulating the system. This holistic redesign accelerates warm-up, improves heat retention, and achieves low NOₓ emissions across varying conditions.

ANDRITZ’s SeaSOx scrubbers move to hybrid dry/wet solutions.

ANDRITZ continues to refine its SeaSOx scrubber line for marine use: combining dry particulate and SO₂ capture with closed-loop wet scrubbers. A pioneering dry scrubber installation reached a milestone when it earned MED-G certification—signifying zero plume and no water discharge—ideal for European ferry operations.
