Recently, countries have successively upgraded their exhaust emission standards and put forward stricter requirements for industrial and energy enterprises. This trend has promoted the innovative development of exhaust gas treatment equipment, especially in meeting ultra-low emissions and high-efficiency treatment.
Policy-driven and technological breakthroughs
New regulations: Thailand and India recently issued stricter industrial emission regulations, requiring sulfur dioxide (SO₂) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions to be reduced by 30% and 20%, respectively. These new regulations have prompted related industries to speed up the renewal of equipment to avoid high fines.
Advances in catalyst technology: In exhaust gas treatment equipment, the new SCR denitrification system based on nanocatalysts has become an industry hotspot. This technology can not only efficiently decompose nitrogen oxides in low temperature environments, but also significantly reduce the frequency of catalyst replacement and extend the life of the equipment.
Typical case:
An international environmental technology company recently launched a fully automatic high-temperature ceramic filter exhaust gas treatment equipment designed for the steel and glass manufacturing industries. This equipment combines multi-stage filtration with catalytic technology to achieve "double zero" emissions of particulate matter and heavy metals. At present, the equipment has been put into use in many cement companies in Thailand, and the emission efficiency has been increased to more than 98%, meeting the latest local environmental protection requirements.
Industry observers predict that waste gas treatment equipment will develop rapidly in the direction of high efficiency, modularization and intelligence, helping companies to reduce emissions while optimizing operating costs and improving environmental competitiveness.
